It sounds like Jimmy Young would have been proud.

 

The only entertaining fight Alexander has been was Matthysse since Lucas was beating the tar out of him for most of the fight. Against Kotelnik he threw the same combinations that weren't working all night long. He retreated all night long against featherfisted Bradley before quitting, and he held Maidana even more than Molina held Kirkland. Guy is a total snooze.

 

Look at Bailey grinnin' it up. I don't blame him. I've seen old people who put more work into walking laps around the mall than he put forth tonight, and he got paid for it. Dude just didn't give a ****.

 

He should face his daddy next, his name is Timothy Bradley lol

This was a stinker, but a good, workmanlike win for Alexander. He definitely showed a chin.

More disappointed in Bailey's effort. He has to realize, he needs a decent work rate to go with the power. Even George Foreman, and Earney Shavers couldn't KO everybody. Alexander has a good chin. He wasn't going to KO Alexander with one punch here or there. He needed a work rate to land enough punches to soften Alexander up. He didn't have that.

 

Alexander defused Bailey very well and showed an excellent chin when necessary.
Not the most fan friendly performance but a solid win in my book.

 

The hilarious thing about this is that you can't even blame that on corruption. That was just plain old obvious incompetence.
