    Jabs to body by Molina. Clinch. Kirkland tries to hammer him with a hook behind the head, clubbing with his forearm. Kirkland connects and thinks he has Molina hurt, opening up. Molina's fine. Right to the body by Molina after extricating himself from a Kirkland clinch. Long clinch, and they walk toward the ropes with Molina's arms wrapped under Kirkland's armpits. Molina dives in with a wild hook and misses. Kirkland catches and holds him. FLUSH right hand lead by Molina. Very nice, technically correct punching by Molina. Kirkland holds him in a headlock and clubs at him. Molina pushes off and holds his left out straight to keep distance. Kirkland barges in and ties up. Ref keeps yelling to let go. Kirkland won't.

    Kirkland looks a lot more aggressive in these opening 30 seconds. Molina's making him miss and tying him up. Good ****. Needs to land a few meaningful shots, though. Because Kirklands got a couple in himself in this second minute. Nice work in the first few seconds of the final third by Molina.

    1-1. Kirkland was more aggressive and landed a few harder shots.

    Molina opens the round with a jab to the body right away. Kirkland starting to let his hands go more, but still missing alot. Molina doing a good job moving and letting his hands go on the back foot, side foot, whatever foot. High energy fight even if the punch count isnt. Both fighters miss with a few shots. Kirkland lands a solid right hook. Molina shoots a straight right to the body, and tangles up. Molina starting to get into the throw a punch tangle up tactic. Good straight right lands for Molina. Believe it or not Molina looks like he's bullying Kirkland in there so far. Kirkland is missing a large amount of shots in there, nothing too effective all round. Molina shoots a straight right to end the round. Another Molina round.
