    Kirklands lack of sophisticated boxing skills is what is landing him in trouble:

    He gets by on being a physical monster with great power, but he can't bully or hurt Molina, and thats trouble.

    Kirkland was never going to be a high calibre champion, but I didn't quite think he was this basic. Even his footwork, sheesh. Its called an angle.

    Kirkland lands a straight left. Molina backs up and wings a big left hook. Kirkland comes forward and lands another left hand lead, and a right hook behind it. Molina is backed up to the ropes and sits on them temporarily while ducking and slipping. (not a technical knockdown, there was no punch directly before it). Rights to the body by Molina. Kirkland comes forward and a tired Molina tries to lean in on him. Kirkland is shouldered back into a corner. Molina keeps smothering. Molina ducks and slips as Kirkland misses a slow left uppercut. More pushing and wrestling. This is a sumo match with some punching, **** boxing. Kirkland lands some corkscrews to the neck and rabbit punches in the clinch. Right to the body by Molina and one upstairs. Kirkland lands a soft left uppercut and a right hook to the back of the head. Right hand, left hook by Molina.

    Both fighters come out throwing but neither lands anything of note. Molina still punching and moving very effectively, Kirkland still struggling to figuring out a effective remedy. Kirkland bullies Molina into the ropes, but nothing effective lands. The tempo is still high, but the big punches arent landing. Interesting fight. Another clinch. Molina shoots a jab then another clinch. Kirkland misses a left uppercut. Molina staying on the move keeping Kirkland off balance. Another clinch. Good left hook on the inside from Molina. Good straight right from Molina. Molina's style is ruining Kirklands, impressively awkward. Another one two from Molina to punctuate the round.

    Nice left by Molina. ****, Kirkland's having some good moments here. I think he's gassing - what I was hoping would happen. Molina's spoiling is paying off. A lot of spoiling in the final round, but it's been mixed with some nice shots from both guys. I think I'll give it to Kirkland slightly.
