Danny Garcia vs Erol Spence JNR

Not gonna happen. Spence is a big talent and will be heavily avoided

 

I'm not high on Danny, especially as a WW but there are certain things Spence does that would leave him vulnerable to Danny's style.

Spence drops his hands and goes to the body alot. Danny's entire style is to catch and counter or to punch with the opponent. Typically when Danny punches with the opponent, he wings left and right hooks at their heads. Spence drops low, fires body shots and poses at times. This leaves him completely exposed for the counter, (Danny is very effective at countering). Spence won't be able to bully Danny around like his other competition up to this point, it just wont happen. And the whole thing about Spence ko'ing Danny is foolish. Danny has never even been down and he's faced quite a few big punchers (all of which in my opinion hit harder than Spence).

Stylistically I don't think Spence is ready for Danny.

Spence isn't exactly a stick and move type of fighter and it's very dangerous to brawl with DSG. Those short hooks can get anyone to sleep.

Most likely everyone who brawled with him. DSG isn't the best fighter in the world. He was gifted the WBC belt. He is beatable. That's all true. But he's certainly not a bum and styles makes fights. He'd be very dangerous for Spence and everyone else who fights in close proximity.

 

Yeah and that's still better than Chris van Heerden and Chris Algieri. I was just making an assessment based on their styles not their careers.

 

I'll go for Spence but Danny has a habit of making a mockery of my picks so would prob find a way to deliver a Hail Mary left hook just to thwart me again.

 

Spence by late TKO. I can see Angel screaming out all kinds of epithets at "The Truth", as he clutches the towel reluctantly. Finally, he lets it fly and runs into the ring to catch Danny just as he falls to the canvas. Danny says..."I love you Dad, just wanted to make you proud," as he gives up the ghost. Angel with tears streaming down his face looks up at "The Truth", only to here the cruel words..."if he dies, he dies." Angel has a fatal heart attack right there. Double TKO for Errol "The Truth" Spence.
