I'd rather they just fight each other again Hans. Good matchup. Could go either way.

Regardless of what Lucas does I think Danny just has the step on him. Lucas goes all as in early in the fight, Danny just lightens up his shots and outboxes him. Lucas ups his boxing more and has more more success but then Danny stiffens up his shots leading to the swelling. Danny's amazing boxing IQ is what's underappreciated more than anything.

First of all, Matthysse needs a good cut man, he had nobody in his corner to stop the swelling of his eye after Garcia headbutted him. The referee should be neutral, since Garcia's referee refused to even warn him about low blows and headbutting. The ref finally took a point away from Garcia in the last round. Matthysse hurt Garcia with a huge punch in the 12th round, but Garcia's referee stopped the fight so as to get Garcia's mouth piece which had been knocked out of his mouth, way out into the audience. Garcia's referee could have used the extra mouth piece, but he knew Garcia needed time to recoup. Matthysse should know, by now, that he will always get cheated in America. Maidana will get cheated in the fight with Broner. Broner knows the referee and judges are on his side and they always will be................

By the way, Matthysse and Kotelnik beat Alexander in Alexander's home town, but they were both cheated, I knew that Porter would beat Alexander, I guess the fight was not in Alexander's home town this time out...........

I think we know what will happen and Garcia knows to that's why he wants nothing to do with that rematch

yes please! impressed with Danny after the first one, always thought he believed his own hype too much (I guess its his dad i dont like). Only having one eye for a whole 1/2 a fight does make a difference, no matter who you are!

As the great G Foreman said: "if it weren't for that eye!"

Alexander lost to Lucas, it was Judah who beat him.

After the Judah fight Matthysse's aggressiveness increased considerably. hes even said after he lost that decision (i thought he won by a point or 2) that he knew he had to be more KO orientated.

Your a deluded, tunnel visioned sociopathic conspiracy theorist. There's so much that's wrong with this post it's difficult to start. The events you just mentioned either never happened or happened at stages in the fight that don't match with what you just stated. Anyway..... I look forward to a potential rematch between Danny and Lucas.

Garcia has always found a way to win his fights. You gotta give him propos for that. He sure got more skills that he's been awarded for.

However, Matthysse's eye injury changed dramatically the course of the fight. It's part of boxing so no knock on Garcia but I don't think he would have won had Matthysse's eye been all right. The revenge is a toss up in my wiew.

This (if true) belongs on Canelo's PPV card of March 8th,especially if it turns out Canelo is fighting Angulo. This event needs a blockbuster undercard to make it worthy of PPV.

Just a thought : Paulie and Porter's win against Judah and Alexander put Matthysse's fights on a different perspective. Don't get me wrong, I thought Matthysse won both of these fights but as talented as Malignaggi and Porter are, there are not exactly elite (even if Porter has great potential) and still beat Judah and Alexander more convincigly that Lucas did.
