Danny Garcia vs Rod Salka....seriously??

what do you think jacobs, salka and fletcher are making total? id say its prob likely around 100k at best....ill give a little and say 125k.....that 125k isnt even enough of a bump in pay to give peterson(to fight danny) over what hes getting for this card

 

They both could have fought anybody in the top 25 in their division or lightweight and it would've been a better fight....The good news is you could be a ****in millionaire if you put money on Salka

 

Kamegai made 75k, I have to think Danny's worth that much. I realize he's third rung on the bill. And I would assume Selka and Santana would make similar. At the end of the day it's not even about the money they just want to keep their belts so they can keep making these bogus cards.

well danny will be on the opener....lets say for shits and giggles he is getting 75k.....salka and santana are prob seeing 50-75k....even if we call it 225k....thats not enough of a bump for just garcia alone to take on peterson imo.......maybe yer right its about the belts.....but for either one to take the risk of fighting each other they need a signifigant bump in pay over what they are both gonna make on aug 9th currently

 

I would rather see him fight Matthysse or Herrera again.

garcias team is just extremely cautious after the loss he just took.
and hes not gunna fight anyone of note at 140 .. his next big fight no doubt will be 147.

and this fight vs salka or bracero who ever its gunna end up being will most likely be his last fight at 140 and i wont be surprised if he comes in over weight to his advantage

he said after the herrera fight its time to move up but hes still remaining at 140 for one more fight i dunno why?? i think maybe he can make weight fine just needed an excuse maybe for gettin the lucky win.
