Fortuna is finished. Jason Sosa has his fighting spirit in a jar, on a self, in his grandma's house next to the paprika.

Douglas knows this isn't a karate dojo and Fotuna isn't a prescored block of wood, right? Why so much chopping? :shakehead:

Those shots are all arm, accomplishing nothing.

The body shots from both are pretty weak, too. Just point-scoring touches, quantity over quality. That isn't the point of going downstairs.

    Round 6

Good bounce back round for Omar, Fortuna holding a hell of a lot, Omar putting on the pressure, Fortuna countering less, Omar doing more sloppy inside work.

    Dougls 10-9 Close

Not sure how grateful I am for that.

He would become my all-time favorite ref if he randomly just waved it off for no reason (for either guy, don't care)

    Round 7

Omar is bossing him around the ring the ref warns Fortuna who's still landing better counters, Omar traps him in the corner and unloads on him, he seemed hurt, they tie up and Omar violently throws him down.

Further proof that Al Haymon is wasting his ****ing money. I would never want my guy to fight for Haymon, his overpaying of mid level fighters turns them into overhyped lower tier bums real fast.

    Fortuna is a bum.
    Figueroa is a bum.
    Guerrero has become a bum.
    Broner is a bum.
    Khan is a bum.
    Russell Jr. is an bum.
Garcia is turning into a bum.

All of Haymon's best fighters are not even promoted.

9th goes to Douglas, based on activity and his harder, clubbing blows.

Both are throwing punches just for the sake of doing so, just running up the numbers, sheer volume. No forethought, no finesse. They're landing enough that I can see how some people would consider this 'nonstop toe-to-toe action' but the punches are completely meaningless. Neither is setting up anything precise enough to be hurtful, there's no artistry. They're just chucking with no leverage and walking through each other with impunity. Monotonous, for 'nonstop toe2toe action'.

    Round 10

Fortuna countering then Omar closes the distance, then they go to war and slug it out, Fortuna got the best of the exchanges.
