I'm good with this fight. I'm one of those that thought DSG would not exactly avoid it, but let's say prioritise a move to 147. I'm assuming nothing good enough to justify vacating could be made in the postponement time allowed. Nonetheless. Props to DSG... I'd have to consider him favourite, but this is a long, long way from an easy fight. Goes a long way towards making up for the Salka debacle.
Postol ain't TR but does work with Kornilov (who manages Provodnikov and Mekhontsev). They have had a close relationship with TR in recent years, but ain't tied, and it seems with the gradual thawing of the cold war these kinda fights are starting to be made. In fact I was more surprised over Haymon fighter La Bomba being put on the Golovkin - Rubio card since HBO have been showing a marked reluctance to work with Haymon fighters over the last year or so.
Bring it on. Swift always takes the best and toughest fights possible Matthysse (3-1 Underdog) Khan (6-1 underdog) Postol (A top 3-5 LWW) Zab (When Zab came off an incredible win vs Vernon, an A level Zab) Morales when Morales was champ Herrera Danny Swift's resume is fking insane at his age. A top 7-9 P4P if he wins this. Unbelievable.
Khan was 1 fight away from F Mayweather, was a top fighter at 140 (Best fighter) Matthysse was also the "Uncrowned king" of 140 when Garcia beat him Now deal with it. :deal He is far better than both. :hey:good
Garcia struggled with a out of prime Judah scrapped past lucas he got his ass handed to him by Herrera and you call him a p4p fighter LMAO
Like I said Garcia will never amount to anything he will never ever be a top 5 p4p fighter I have doubts he will ever be a top 10 p4p fighter
