Danny Garcia vs Zab Judah nearly finalized for January 19, 2013!

Can any body tell the last time the WBC LWW title was defended in a mandatory ?

 

This is a good stylistic fight for Judah. I don't think he'll pull it off though, but it'll be competitive

 

What is it with Danny Garcia fighting these old has beens?

 

arty...Zab is much like Pavlik in that he's extremely dangerous when he respects his opponent and desperately needs to win. Well, he's obviously seen Garcia's last 3 fights and he definitely wants to win...especially in front of his home crowd. If Zab is as focused as he was against Matthysse, Garcia's in some serious trouble.

Joking, But I force myself to cheer for southpaws.

 

I must be the only person who actually thinks this fight will be competitive...

 

garcia is the new floyd....fighting nothing but shot fighters in their mid to late 30s

 

gbp is just bigging/fattening him up before he'll be sacrificed...and we all know it's coming.

 

That said Garcia has a good chance to have judah doing the stanky leg again.

 

I had Zab by a point over Matthyse, I believe 114 to 113. Close fight and
Zab showed heart. If you think Matthyse decisively won he didnt.
Prime for prime Zab would destroy Garcia. Nowadays Zab might have
enough left in the tank to pull it off. Zab is faster and stronger and has
more expeience.
