I really am rooting for zab but he has the tendency to wilt, especially against guys who can box and/or withstand his shots. danny has shown a good beard, which isnt good for zab, but I like to think the disrespect he has been shown by angel garcia and the fact that this is truly his last go at the elite level will will him to bring his A game and shine.
I don't know, Zab seems to always get undeserved title shots, hard to think of anyone who has had more undeserved title shots than he has. You always think he has worked himself out of contention, only for him to be given another shot, for seemingly unexplainable reasons. Most guys would kill to get even half the opportunities at title shots in their career that he has gotten.
Given Zab has all of the tools to beat Garcia...I dont think Zab mental aspect will hold up...Maybe I could be wrong but seeing how Zab has wilted under pressure in most of all of his major fights, I fully expect him to put a good fight for the first 3-4 rounds and he starts to lose his focus...Garcia isnt all that talented as far as pure boxing skills goes, but he does show a will to win and I think that will cause Zab to second guess himself...I predict Garcia will get a TKO victory in the later rounds. Garcia TKO11
Thing about this fight Garcia is younger than Zab, i really dont see Zab quitting to someone like Garcia, especially after they have been talking so much ****, i think we see a motivated Zab Zab UD But im putting a bit of money on Judah ko at 12/1
Anybody going there? I't's gonna be my first time in NYC. 3 days! Weather looks good. ****, going with ZAb!
Garcia by stoppage. Judah has all the tools to beat him, but he won't 100% be there mentally. All this back and forth between the camps will get him caught in this fight eventually. Zab will be looking to make a statement, and I don't think he'll take Garcia out early. Will be a good fight though. Garcia will lose, just don't see it happening to Judah at this stage.
probably because of his notoriety more than anything else. he's been a staple of light welterweight and welterweight since the mid 90's, but other than the outside chance of him receiving an undeserved title shot, I see this as his last life. he's getting up there in age. if he loses convincingly and continues to fight, I see stepping stone status in his future.
Judah looked damm good in his last fight against a young, hungry lion. I hope he brings his A game and uses his jab and boxes from the outside and try to counter. If he does that, i think he can win a close ud. But that's a big if.
