First of all, I understand why 90% of this forum is upset with Danny. The Mexicans were mad when a green Garcia beat and then ko'd their God Morales in a cherry pick gone wrong... Then when Danny beat up, knocked down and made Khan do the chicken chance, solidifying that beating with a TKO, that made him a prime target for British and Muslim fans.. If that wasn't enough, Danny completely obliterated and schooled Lucas Matthyse, in the upset of the year and an exciting fight. This without a doubt made Danny the most hated in this forum, it's cool though. Danny stay winning, there's absolutely no blueprint. You can argue he lost against Herrera in a close fight, but he beat Peterson(something Khan couldn't do) without really trying. What a champ this guy is, a brave and true boxing champion. He fights the best and constantly fights guy's he has a stylistic disadvantage just to get better. We must all respect and give props to this man. His natural power comes when he plants his 6 toe'd foot and delivers that hellacious left hook. After seeing and respecting Danny's resume more and more, not sure how GGG can rate above him. He should be well below him , so should Mikey simply on resume alone. Swift Garcia, the last undisputed WW champ since Zoo. :yep
I see GGG as an Adrien Broner type of situation, although Broner moved up 4 weight classes and won 3 belts in the process. We've seen this happen before with the ring. Don't see a problem with it though since GGG brings excitement to a dead premier division.
Schooled and obliterated Matthysse? throwing constant low blows and matthysse fighting with one eye half of the fight that is not being schooled at all.He did what he had to do to win , yes.
You seem upset, why is that? He beat him up and made him his *****. It's as simple as that. It was the upset of the year for a reason. :yep Nobody thought Danny could do it and was scared. People still hated when he won, it's understandable though. People just hate success. Look at Ward and Floyd.
How on earth did Garcia obliterate Matthysse, it was a close fight which he won fairly apart from countless low blows and the eye blew up which is never guaranteed to happen, so he got some fortune in a solid victory, don't exaggerate it.
Technically GGG did the equivalent at that age in the amateurs winning world championships at light welterweight through middleweight.
Nobody hates success. Sometimes they hate to see dirtbags succeed, although I've never considered Ward one. People hate Ward and Floyd because they are boring to watch in the ring and act like prima donnas outside of it.
First off, Cherry Gift Garcia(his daddy Herrera says hi) is not a champ. and is Gift ever going to man up and fight a boxer with an above 50 percent Ko rate again. Matthyse must have really put the fear of punchers into Cherry.
This is what I'm saying. GGG's resume is so bad that people use his amateur accomplishments as something to brag about,.... :rofl His pro career should be a meme. It's so hilarious, it's laughable, just like Raymi.
Of course they hate success. Swift beat up the reigning champs to get his belts, fights in which he was a true underdog. If that wasn't impressive enough, he's constantly fighting boxers he has a stylistic advantage over simply because he wants to get better. The man is an inspiration and has guts. Poor kid from one of the worst ghetto's in America to an undefeated champ Not sure what there isn't to respect.
