Danny garcia would not win a round against Algieri

    It's a close fight, the 140 division top 10 is VERY competitive right now... I think Algieri might win that one 7 - 5 or something like that

    its a good fight im always pickin my danny to beat who ever tho..


    he did get a gift vs herrera and i think its crazy hes actually going to fight at 140 again.
    when he clearly struggled vs herrera and even let us kno he had trouble makin 140

    but that could just be an excuse because he didnt train that hard cuz he underestimated him which could of happened.

    after he beat lucas he proly figured herrera would be ez

    P.S. It is hard to tell how someone is without actually meeting them but boxing master comes across as a bit of a dick head.

    Not winning a round may be a bit of an overstatement and I'm no fan of Garcia, Algieri is not the same as Herrera, the fight would not look the same.

    Herrera has an odd mugging and smothering style that is very awkward and bordering on impossible to adjust to, Algieri on the other hand is a slick retreating combination puncher, so if Danny doesn't play into following him around the ring and being countered all night, it takes some of the play away from Algieri, although I think it would be a close fight with Algieri possibly outpointing Danny.

    I think Postol would be far more complicated fight, I could see him outboxing Garcia though his height and stance would give Danny a few problems.

    I don't see a problem with the thread. Algieri is exactly the kind of fighter that beats garcia. The chance of him shutting garcia out is very real. The guy has problems with guys who move n use angles. I never seen a defensive minded guy who moves like Algieri and throws so many "punches." I use quotations becuz I don't really consider what Algieri does as punching but hey...garcia might not get a glove on him which translates to danny getting a face massage and losing his belts.

    I think even Malignaggi would outbox him in a wide decision win .

    118-110

    Easy work for him .

    Not to mention Paulie knows Garcia style very well .

    This is where his boxing IQ would really show .

    Algieri does not have the power to stop garcia. He may be the better boxer, but Garcia is no Ruslan. He's more skilled than he actually looks and he has that counter left hook that could KTFO of you.

    We don't know whether Garcia just had an off day against Herrera or he is just that limited against mover.
    If Garcia, which showed up against Herrera, fight Algieri then he won't beat Algieri (and also Jessie Vargas).
    Still Garcia will take more than 1 round
