Yeah Miguel had his scary moments with his chin back @ 140

So its not out of the question he might get stopped if he gets caught with that hook .

But if i had to pick , i lean towards Miguel in this match up .

 

Cotto was struggling with Zab too until he intentionaly low blowed him a couple times...

Anyways Cotto of 140 had a wicked body attack.....but was chinny....50/50 fight.

Cotto was a beast at 140. Yes he could be hurt by big punchers but so can Danny. Cotto was/is better than Matthysse, Khan, old Morales and old Judah. It would be a good fight but I would favour Cotto.

 

Im Rican but i got to say i agree with the op. I think Garcia beats Cotto at 140 and problably by ko. At 140 Cotto had a horrible habit of dropping his hands and it lead to getting dropped by a few guys that had no business dropping him. I believe a high iq power puncher like Garcia wouldve exploited this and beat him.

 

Whether Garcia wins or not he wouldn't have ko'd Cotto.

Cotto stood up to Pac's best and didn't want the fight stopped, and fought Margarito who used bricks. Sorry but it is what it AIN'T!

Cotto was a bit chinny at 140 because he almost stayed in that weight class too long.

 

he was struggling to make the 140 limit when he was getting rocked. he moved up shortly after. a prime 140 cotto would have beat a prime 140 garcia. i like both guys...but i have to admit, cotto was dynamic at 140 before the weight issues.

 

Who are the best guys Garcia as KO'd? Khan who has no chin and Morales who was old, outside of his natural weight division and went the distance the first time around?

 

Abdullaev hurt Cotto at 140 and even Maussa had his moments, that's all you need to know right there.

 

A few fighters hurt Cotto at 140 before Cotto brutalized them.
