If Tarver is treating a fight with Danny as a "tune up" he's making a big mistake!

I dunno why these American fighters have to consider Danny as a tune up, just to justify a fight with him.

I would have Danny as the favourite in this one. Tarver hasn't done anything lately to consider him all that dangerous.

Green expects to get the majority of the pie...well he can if he wants but he has to fight a Otis Griffin level of fighter. SIMPLE.
Not 1 American fighter with a decent name behind him is going to come half way around the world for the % Green wants....Green needs to show some financial risk as well.
Hopkins deserves IMO more than 50% as he is taking the risk coming half way around the world...plus he is in the TOP 5 pound4pound in all experts opinions.
Green can have his 75% & fight Otis Griffin level fighters quite frankly.

The Yanks are fighting in there own backyard for standard fare, they are starting to get a sniff of the money to be had down under and are getting greedy.
Which Yank made the comment about reward and risk??
For some it will pay travel down under for others they will pay for the trip.

 

If Green had a Major 4 Cruiserweight/Light Heavyweight belt, then he would have more clout on the table for the opposing fighter to risk....but lets face it he has the IBO & his claim to fame is he beat a very old Roy Jones.
Unless a big name is paid probably above what he is worth whoever they are Tarver...Hopkins etc.... will not come.

I mean for sure he beat Roy Jones who beat Hopkins back in 1993...Hopkins camp will think so what should i beat Green will the US audience/press really care???
Its all about legacy for Hopkins now.
Which is why Green will need to give Hopkins more than 50% to come out here whether he likes it or not.

Risk & Reward.

For the most part travelling and fighting outside of the US meant dealing with different fight styles (pugalists in Europe) and accordingly different styles in judging....all a matter of opinion.
Come and fight Danny Green and styles and judging takes a back seat. The risk of getting KO'D and returning home with this on your resume and your value financially is gonna plumet.....ask Roy.

Green is dangling a decent carrot here, these guys should get out of there comfort zone and travel some, they might get a decent payday down here.
