Do you even get the point?, he is saying Kessler put Beyer away and isn't a big puncher and sayin Green is an over rated puncher because he couldn't do it, yet the point was it's a flawed logic when before hand Green put Lucas away quicker than Kessler did.

    Spot on.

Hopkins was always fighting Roy. It's just sad that HBO and all concerned pretended Roy never got knocked out by Green and approved this abortion of a ppv.

I must've missed the fight where Kessler fought Lucas???
Green didn't knock Lucas out, he bludgeoned him until the ref stopped it. My point is that he doesn't have any sort of one punch power. Talking about logic.... you're a ****ing imbecile :thumbsup

Bludgeoning a bloke is hardly likely to have been pitty-pat punches now is it?

I don't remember that fight. I'm calling you an imbecile because your comment was irrelevant to what my point was.

I never claimed he throws pitty pat punches did I? Everyone knows Lucas wasn't right for that fight, that was probably Greens best performance of his career but he didn't knock him out. My point is he lacks one punch power. He's a strong guy, not a puncher.

Call it whatever you may but at the end of the day we will all be watching it. And it will make more for Hopkins than any fight with Green would.

Green got greedy and now his missed the boat. Should have taken the 60/40 as soon as it was offered. Would have loved to see Hopkins fight in Australia. Instead he believed all the hype (one lucky punch was all it was) and tried to squeeze an ATG. Well back to being Mr Nobody.

    u r wrong.

i won't watch hopkins-jones. it is a silly fight that means nothing now, regardless of who wins or how.

also i'd doubt very much if hopkins would be fighting green even at 60/40. by all accounts green offered him whatever it took and a free visit to taronga zoo to pat a koala bear and he still wouldn't sign.

Really? Who has he knocked out with one shot? He has decent punching power but he is not a knockout artist.

Green hasnt really knocked out anyone with one punch. I'd say he's a strong fighter who can punch well with both hands.

if u win by ko it really doesn't mean sfa whether it took 1 punch or 4 punches. it's just nit-picking to down play greens power shots tbh.

it's like when a horse wins the melbourne cup, there's always someone who will say 'yeah but it only won by a nose'. the punters still win, the owner gets the same prizemoney and the horse still goes in the record books as being the melbourne cup winner.
