Borrowed the Danny Green doco the other night and would recommend it to anyone even remotely interested in Green or boxing. The behind the scenes stuff is brilliant. Never realised how frustrating it was fighting overseas. Did they ever try and screw him over.
What do you mean screw him over. Are you talking about when Green deliberately headbutted Beyer on his badly cut eye to get disqualified ? Green screwed himself over in that fight.
Not talking about that at all. That was legit. Talking about the bidding to stage fights, attempts to withold purses, take bogus urine tests etc. Loved the part where Fenech goes off his head in the change room - doesn't take much to get him fired up, though in this case it was warranted.
In slow mo he missed the eye clearly. Still looked suss in real time, but come on that DQ was a joke. Good dvd, I enjoyed it.

Thankfully our local (Melbourne) video shop owner is a boxing nut and has a wealth of good stuff in the weekly section - cheaper than buying.
