danny green doco on fox sports.

I caught a bit of it while at the pub, i couldn't hear what he was saying but it did seem like he was talking to much (like usual). One thing I did notice was that he was a fkn tough amateur fighter aswell.

 

If he didn't talk we would have heard crickets. The guy interviewing him was borderline hopeless.

Finally got around to watching it last night, the interviewer has a great head for radio and really should stick to commentating kickboxing, he was woeful. Also interested to see they didn't have any footage of Green at the Olympics, was that Ch.7 still being a ***** about footage rights?
I'm neither here nor there on Green but he held my interest for the length of the doco despite some woeful editing. Early in the interview they played a clip of Green entering the ring for a bout over the interview so we couldn't hear what was being said and had nothing to do with anything. they did it again later when talking about his ring entrance music, helpfully playing a few bars of 'Land Down Under' for the three people in Australia who didn't know what song he was talking about.

danny you forgot one thing the only reason people wanted to no you was cause you were some sort of threat to mundine,
you lived in mundines shadow till the fight then you got.......... smashed
then you fight a bloke who needed money for a bogus title.

Danny Green has ridden Anthony Mundine's coat tail his whole career. Green should really be very very thankfull to Mundine. Anthony has made Green millions.

 

It goes both ways though. Without Green, Mundine wouldn't of made his biggest payday either. A rivalry takes two parties.

 

Funny how it ended up, it's been Mundine using Greens name for almost the last 6 months to get some attention .

 

Without Green, Mundine would still be very wealthy.

During the lead up to the fight, Green was continuously saying how he's never felt fresher, healthier, and how his diet program is so much better under Salas, ect. It wasnt until months after he lost that his prep for that fight turned into a nightmare.

 

Name me one boxer that says my lead up was **** and I'll most likely get beat?
