Still, we talk of Mundine/Green...every time I log on it seems the only thing that dominates the forum. I feel for the guys who bust their asses and don't have the profile. It's simply becoming a slanging match between the two boxers' fans and enemies on this forum...sad

i trained great,my preparation was great i have no excuses.
now its at a weight that suits me.what a ****ing hypocrite.
Mundine has no obligation to rematch this ****wit 3 weight divisions above the one hes campaigning at.the only DG he should rematch is Daniel Geale.

 

I think the majority of people on this forum have turned off Danny Green recently. How embarrasing wld it be if Mundine schooled him a second time atsch Not sure he can but that wld really bring him back to earth.

The bottom line here is that no matter what Green said about his weight after the loss, anything other than "he beat me fair & square" would have been an excuse & he would have copped a shelacking.
That was then, this is now.

And while we're on the subject of weight. let's look at the FACTS of Chocs weight.
He's had 41 fights. He began as a Super middy & campaigned there until he fought Dowling & Castillo at Lt heavy.
He fought Kessler at SM then Matumbla at Lt heavy again.
He then resumed at SM untill he met Taylor & Geale at Middy.
He went back to SM for Falliga.
Then fought medley at Middy,,1 pound under that limit.

Summary;
35 at SM.
3 at Lt heavy
3 at Middy


He won all three fights at LH by stoppage
He won his 3 middy fights by decision & one of those was a SD.

If they did fight, it would be at LH you could be pretty sure of that. He's no more a cruiser than Choc is.

Let's just keep this in perspective.

 

Yeah, logically it's at a 'light heavyweight like' catchweight, and for the cruiser title provided Green holds it at the time.

...and logically, based on current form, Green by stoppage.

 

For the first time I get the thought that they wont fight again....Green now has enough cash...choc is going down in weight....I just dont see it anymore :conf
