    He ain't no legend.

The same way Tarver, Johnson, Calzaghe didn't become legends.

It was a good win though.

The win probably makes him an Australian boxing legend.

    On the world scene?

I can't think of anyone who has suggested that this fight in any way proved that Green may be a decent fighter. It's all about how **** Jones must be.
Which is strange, cause you would think at least some people would start to wonder if Green could be able to win some better fights - that sort of discussion almost always happens after an underdog wins like that.

Yeah, when you beat a legend, you become a legend! I can forgive the commentators for the excess of the moment I suppose, but two days after the fact, some sanity is expected!

Not a legend. Fights hard and is a smarter boxer than he was with Jeff Fenech. Started in 2001 and has always had the potential to be a title holder. Made some bad decisions during fights and rushed it most of the time. For some, their prime is in the mid or late 20's but at 36 it looks like green can continue to be dangerous. He finally found his weight and balances his power better with more accuracy.

Good on blokes like Hopkins and Jones for giving it a shot at their age, but the difference atm is that Hopkins is acting like a teenage girl and stupid as ever and Jones is being a man and showing respect.

    hmm says . . .

nice to see your pride... but he is not a legend for fighting ONE over the hill, way past his prime, should've retired long ago legend... it's like me beating my Grandpa and saying I can whoop my dad in his prime since my grand-daddy whooped him..
