Danny Green seems to have taken on this escapade in trying to take on a few names in his final few years in the sport to piece together some sort of legacy and make some decent coin.

The latter, he is certainly doing and kudos to him for that.

The question is, does the sporting and boxing public of Australia care about what he is going about?

Secondly, does the world rate him as a legitimate force on the global scene at either Light Heavy or Cruiser?

I just find it bizarre that by fighting at just over light heavy, he is neither a light heavyweight or legitimate cruiserweight. I just can't figure where he fits into and whether he is considered a relevant fighter......

The Jones fight was good and was a bit of a shot in the arm for Aussie boxing, and Green himself.

The win did up his profile, though it will be quickly forgotten if he doesn't follow it through with anything significant.

My God! If he doesn't make the ESB ratings, he might as well give it away!!!

Give Green his dues.. He picked up the IBO strap by belting a bloke that made no impact anywhere, yet defended the same belt against on of the games (until the excuses flowed) most respected ever talents. A match with Bhop was nearly cemented afterwards....

Unlike another local fighter, Green can ben given a lot of respect for chasing big names.. Where does he fit into the rating World wide??? Pretty bloody highly, as any fight is possible, just as garanteed $$$$$$$ for anyone he fights...

TeamRJJ's behaviour after the embarrasssing 1 round KO, is no better than ducking away to 154, and has no qualifications for anything, except doing the local game harm.

Green's probably only as good as his next win, although his last victory has given him more respect than anything Mandy has accomplished in the last 5 years. Yes, he's good for the local scene and anything that avails O/S.

I hope he gets a shot at Tarver.

He'd have to be a chance and they wouldnt ignore him then that's for sure.

    QUESTION REGARDING THE IBO

When will Danny Green have to fight some sort of mandatory for his IBO cruiser belt. Surely he has to within 12 months or so and surely he must fight one of the IBO's top 5 contenders.

Does anyone know the criteria for Green's defences of his IBO belt.

The IBO doesn't have mandatory defences from memory.

Surely eventually Green MUST defend against someone/anyone in the IBO's top 10 at least. If he doesn't then the IBO is more of a joke than i previously thought. Green bought the title off them and fought a bum in Dominguez. I want to know when Green will face a legit top level cruiser for his joke of a title. Green is happy to parade himself around as a top cruiser so lets see him beat one.

Anyone can fight for the IBO belt from the look of the last 2 years.
