Danny green. Just lose the other 4 lbs and challenge the winner of dawson/pascal

    Danny green isn't fooling anyone that he's a real cruiser and will most likely lose to the relavant real 200'lbers. But at lightheavy there is a wealth of great challenges for him including two championship fights.
    He could easily lure the winner of the johnson/cloud fight as neither guy
    would make near the amount of money in the states as they could with a title in OZ. Or, he could challenge for the linear title in the states against
    the winner of dawson/pascal. I just don't think that there is a future for danny against the top cruisers as they are too big for him and are in there
    primes. Just lose another 4 lbs danny and fight in your best division.

    He weighed 185 for the past 2, so maybe 175 is a tough weight for him.

    However, I bet Dawson or Cloud or maybe also Flores would agree to a catch-weight if the money was right.

    Another fight that would make sense is Erdei.....

    Those are serious, relevant fights mate...Danny Green wont be touching them.

    He is looking to make the maximum amount of money in the least amount of fights before he retires again.
    And when it comes to the Australian public they dont know the the difference between Chad Dawson and Eric Crumble..so he wont be fighting as dangerous as Chad.

    He has become a joke now, so I dont worry to much about him mate he is insignificant on the world stage and he is comfortable with that.

    Good post. This guy is making millions fighting a shot Roy Jones and past it Paul Briggs who was coming off a 3 year retirement and was only interested in throwing the fight. No way in hell would Danny Green bother trying to lose more weight to fight a guy like Dawson. It's pointless.

    Danny Green has no interest at all in fighting someone who can kick his ass, thus why he hasn't fought Steve Cunningham who is willing to travel anywhere for a fight.

    Green is only interested in fighting fights that generate
    the most coin.

    He is a big name in Australia and had a good thing going.

    The likes of Dawson, etc, are likely not to be looked at,
    because the Australian public have never heard of them.

    Most the Australian public dont even know who Vic Darchinyan
    and Michael Katsidis are, that gives you an insight to where
    boxing is at in Aus, when Mundine and Green are the biggest
    names.

    Paul Briggs was fairly well known to the public, through the Australian
    contender and aswell as being a commentator.

    Danny Green and Anthony Mundine give Aussy boxing a bad name. Thank god for Katisidis and Darchinyan.

    And as for Dawson vs Green??? Green couldnt lay a glove on Anthony Mundine and Mundine made him his *****. Dawson???? AHAHAHAHAHA that would be brutal.
