Any questions for Danny Green? He's doing a live chat today from noon Perth time http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/opinion/post/-/blog/behindtheplay/post/17/comment/1/
Only have one question: Danny, from memory you threw about 3 punches in that 28 seconds. The first, a straight left into Briggsy's ample gut. The second, a left that appeared to just graze Briggs' head, and the third, a right that followed straight after the left and clearly went over Briggs' head. On the night you intimated he was a dog, because obviously you felt very little, if any recoil from that second punch - the one that appeared to barely graze his head. Nobody, least of all you thought it was enough to turn a former world rated, hardman to jelly. Now, a day or so later, you seem to be entertainling the thought that the punch was actually capable of causing the damage. If you didn't feel anything through the glove on the night, what has happened since to change your mind?
After making somewhere over a million dollars for the fight do you really believe you are angrier than the thousands of fans who forked out cash and gave up their Wednesday night for that garbage? Also you are a 'cruiserweight' champion any idea when you're gonna fight a cruiserweight?
Questions being taken now http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/opinion/post/-/blog/behindtheplay/post/17/comment/1/
danny. i commend you for giving a sick ex-fighter a payday. this has happened all through boxing history in world title fights, even when there was just one title to fight for in each division. now that you have had your 'charity match', do you feel you owe australian boxing fans a real fight? or do you wish to become the circus the nasser/mundine mob has always been? are you in it for the money, or the glory? are you here to unify, or divide? also, are you prepared to challenge mundog 1 year in advance for a 'catchweight' fight (either boxer can weigh any weight) in one years time? .
Are you still filing your law suit against the NSW combat authority? Can't believe they tried to stop this and impact upon your income..
Nah we'll let him start with the little guys first. That's if he's willing to boil himself down to the light heavy limit. Apparently he only has 1.5% body fat at that weight limit and has struggled with it for years, let's not even start on super-middle.
I asked about 25 different questions - all polite and well arranged but angled at what he hopes to do with his belt and fighting other legit cruisers. They only acknowledged the fan nuthugging and absoltue bone heads.. No intelligent questions or answers
