I could not believe Danny tryed to counter punch tarver like he did with BJ. Tarver is a known counter punch, its what he built his career on. He didnt pressure him at all and just sat there on the ropes, giving the fight away. Taver was way to smart it wasnt like danny was going to bait him or anything. I think he felt tarvers power early and didnt like it. When you think about it, he had never been hit flush at this higher weight class by a decent puncher, it defiently shook him up. He really had nothing in there.

Spot on again Sally, bad corner work

Im going over the fight, just finished watching it for the 4th time, the advice given by Danny from Hyder was a joke, he even starts to slap Danny on the face during the break at the end of round 3, .. i think it is Dannys brother is telling Hyder thats enough, Hyder tells him "SHUT UP." He also says to Danny "Ive never seen you box like this" , i guess Hyder wasnt watching the BJ Flores fight. Typical Fenech fckwit corner work from hyder as usuall.

    Time for Hyder to go.

in the seventh he hurt tarver with bodywork and had tarver hunched over, but he didnt seem to be able to pull the trigger, pure and simple tarver intimidated him and danny froze. He wasnt responding to any of hyders advice and tarvers jab didnt allow him to settle, i dont think they expected tarver to be that fit and they underestimated his power. Tarver was the better fighter and good work by brendan and angelo for stopping the fight

Green was scared shitless on the ring walk, you could see it in his eyes.

I thought he looked Pumped, a little to over confident perhaps. He wasnt to gracefull, smashing tarvers gloves at touch gloves part etc, u dont go in like a tough guy unless u can deliver, he should have taken the humble approach cause now he looks like a dck that got his ass handed to him on a plate by a 42 yr old who hadnt fought in over a yr. GOLD! :good

Green's gameplan was poor. Couple this with his illness 6 months ago and it's no wonder the fight turned out as it did.

i don't think it was tarvers power that stopped green from letting his punches go, because i don't believe he would then be going to the ropes and allowing him to tee off on him like that.

when green let his punches go, he was dominating and had tarver in big trouble. tarver admitted it.

Yeah thats what i cant believe, that he went to the ropes the try and counter and not press the attack. WTF was with that, no way he was ever goign to win trying to counter punch tarver he was too slick to get hit with one shot of the ropes. He need to pressure him the hole fight.

I guess he thought that 42yr old taver that looked **** in his last fight over a year ago would be and easy name to add to his record. But boxing skills pays the bills.

What exactly are you trying to say?

There's no mysterious reason why Green lost - Tarver is in a different class. And if Green had met Briggs and Jones when they were in their primes then he would have been beaten by them too.
