Ok, now that I got your attention.

Seriously. After RJJ gets flattened every post is about how awful RJJ is and what on earth can Bhop do instead of fighting him. Oh yeah, and a few random "this proves Calzaghe is ****" comments too.
There is only a few random posts that even mention Green. Things like "he did ok" or whatever.

I'm surprised that no-one at all is wondering if Green is actually any good.

I wrote Green off a while ago. But he is looking a lot healthier with the extra weight on. Could he actually be a contender at Cruiser? Assuming that Adamek and Haye are staying at Heavy, Bhop and Dawson are staying at LHW - the cruiserweight playing field could be a safe haven for Green.

Or is he just as **** as has been implied by the lack of talk?

he's not really a cruiser, he's a blown up super middle, he fought at 81kg (light heavy is 79kg) so he's not gonna mix it with the big boys and no he is ****.

Green looked to have much more lateral movement than I recall -though I have not seem him fight more than....once. He looked sharp and much stronger than jones. I think Green-Dawson at cruiser would be an interesting fight.

  4. People care little about Green, it seems. He's been called " a bag of ****", "C-grade (multiple times)", "insignificant" and "bum" - this is just what I've read today. Apparently people around here have pretty high standards. Oh, also, this logic - "hahah r u serious?? Green lost to Mundine who got KO'd by the featherifisted Ottke!! :rofl:rofl:patsch:patsch" is VERY popular.

Watching Green in his prime lead me to believe he was very good.

Seeing him brutalize Lucas and Beyer showed what he was capable of. From the time he beat Sean Sullivan he seemed to be shot to pieces.

He claimed it was being weight drained. I say "bull****" whenever a boxer says that. Until they prove otherwise.

If Green could return to his best form ever, then I think he could have a shot at top dog in Cruiser.

Can I see that happening? Nah. But then I also thought he would be schooled by even a washed up Jones...

He was significantly weight drained against Mundine, and Mundine in his prime had some pretty sweet skills, just no balls to put them to the test. I'd like to see what Green could do at either light heavy or cruiser, a fight with Adamek would be brutal aslong as it lasted.. but if Paul Briggs couldn't get the best of Adamek then I don't see Green doing it either.

I just saw him called a club fighter in another thread.

I mean he is a world champ at cruiser (dubious belt though) and a former world champ at SMW. He just KTFO a guy in less then a round; a guy who was heavily favoured to beat him.

I'm just amazed that noone has been thinking of potential matchups for him now. That always happens after a shock victory like this.

It really seems that people think he is absolute pure ****. I dunno, maybe he is way too shot to be any good anymore. I'd be interested to see how he goes against other legit cruisers.
Hell, you would think that some fights could be made now for him.

I think that anyone with decent footwork and a good jab who is able to commit to it will beat Green handily.
