i've heard someone else say he was groaning too.
personally, i'd rather forget the 'conquests' of roy jones. its painful watching a great fighter end like this.

Absolutely disrespectful. I like how he didn't explain how the 'moaning' Roy Jones Jr managed to block almost every punch Green threw when he was 'out on his feet' after the rabbit punch to the back of the head caused the knockdown just prior.

A fluke win based on an early stoppage caused by an inadvertently illegal punch.

An average blow to the temple unsettles the semicircular canals and balance is lost. You are not usually "hurt" as in almost out but your balance and mobility is severely compromised. You may be stopped or the referee may TKO you because of your excessive defensive posture. That's what happen to Roy Jones. That's the break in boxing sometimes. This time it was Roy Jones time to get a bad break.

    You're out of your mind.
It was not an illegal punch.
And it was not an early stoppage. Your vantage was certainly much worse than that of the ref who could see clearly what was happening and how Jones was responding to it.

And it's a rabbit punch if the punch is at the base of the skull or the neck.
Not every punch that happens to hit on the side of the head is a rabbit punch.

You know I used to luv Roy, but his last few fights, especially the one with Tito, were bad. Banging the sides of his stomach of his stomach when Tito would hit it. Essentially mocking Tito who was about 20lbs lighter naturally. Unfortunately you reap what you sow.

It's amazing the sympathy people have for Roy considering the contempt he showed for so many of his opponents.
