    Totally agreed.
Roy Jones took the beating he deserved. For those who claims it was a bad stoppage, Jones was just covering up and spend a minute without throwing a punch.

Green won, but American boxing media will never admit it.

Move out of the country if you hate it so much.

Jones was hit in the back of the head. He was probably extremely dazed or something. People can make those kinds of noises when that happens.

the punch was in no way "illegal" just a one-in-a-million freak shot

as far as the moaning, green is dangerously close to sounding like the fat slob arreola after the vitali fight...."the woman noises" you won green STFU and be happy with it.

Danny Green is actually generally quite respectful towards all of his opponents bar Anthony Mundine. He was very gracious in victory towards Jones and has shown him alot of respect. Even their build up seemed somewhat 'good natured' compared to the general consensus of the fight game.

I think the word people are looking for is insensitive. A modern great has passed on to insignificance and green is just sitting there describing gory details about it.

No one would want to hear Sonny Bill bragging about breaking Andrew Johns back now would ya ;)

I cant believe that people can find this disrespectful. Green is simply describing the fight as it happened. That is all. He is not talking himself up in any way at all.

  10. Yes, I too am unsure what the **** the "disrespectful" crowd are on about.

Jones & Green get on well. Jones would never have agreed to travel half way around the world to fight Green if they didn't.

Green is certainly not meaning to be disrespectful so cut him a break. He's describing in a factual sense what happened during the fight.

Yes Roy is over the hill but let's not forget Roy was a big favourite going in & Green has come up with the most memorable win of his career. He's entitled to be very excited about it and to talk about it to those who are interested in hearing about it.

Saying he's disrespectful for talking about the biggest win of his career against one of the greatest fighters of all time after a lifetime in the sport is being a little over-sensitive, imo.

This fight reminds me of Tyson vs Danny Williams, which although was a longer fight its a shot legend getting beat by a much much lesser fighter.

  13. There's so many sorry sacks of **** around on the internet. Some guy tries to enjoy his fifteen minutes of fame and all these online heroes jump in to cut him down. :-(

Still that said can we now expect Green to be a world beater? I wouldn't mind him fighting Hopkins in Jones's place.
