It was the Danny Green from the Flores fight who took his time and used a variety of well timed punches rather than reckless slugging. Good to see the left hook back which was a key weapon tonight.

On a different topic, I've had it with the foxtel commentators, they were alot more biased than usual. I thought Colonel Bob Sheridan rode Mayweathers d1ck pretty hard during the Cotto fight, but damn, these guys rode Green's d1ck harder than Molly Meldrum does at one of Elton John's parties.

Nothing new from the useless FOX/Main Event commentary crew. We have the worst boxing commentary going around. Compare it to HBO, Showtime, ESPN or Sky Sports in UK and laugh.

Green looked solid against a guy who didn't appear as strong as him. Pretty accurate and picked his shots with the jab and left hook. Didn't really open up with combos til round 3.

Santiago had his moments (mostly in the feeling out first round), but got 0 credit for it. Landed some good right hands as part of a flurry but couldn't match Green in accuracy or power. Took some good shots and constantly pressed the action which played into Green's gameplan to pick shots.

I was a little confused in the 3rd round with the first knockdown; the ref appeared to signal a slip but seemed to change his mind and starts the count. I'll have to rewatch that part again.

This wasn't a fight that would convince you he belongs in the cruiserweight division though.

I missed the Matt Garlett fight, but know the result. Anyone want to elaborate on how it went?

It wasmore of a tester to see how he looked coming down in weight a bit. If he fights again it will prona be at lhw. Garlett looked pretty good he finished the jon quickly with some big left right shots!

Wow, didn't even know this was on tonight!

Oh well, good news I suppose. Did he say what he wants to do next after the fight?

Edit: Just watched the highlights on Foxsports - wow, doesn't look like it should have lasted that long! Guy seemed to have absolutely nothing but an ability to stand up.
