Thought Green looked ok, but he wasn't up against much, and still got tagged a few times. If Santiago had a bit more resistance it could have been an exciting fight but it was very very one-sided.

 

ill say this about santiago, jeez he was game.
i thought he was done a few times but he pushed through. at the end of the day though green looked good against a guy not on his level.

 

Santiago was given INCENTIVES to last more than 3 rounds hahaha

 

did you see how empty the arena was that was never a sell eh grub

 

I Said it before the fight, santiago is game and continually comes forward and would walk into Greenys shots.

He was tough alright but it was the prefect sort of opponent for Green

 

Also does anyone else get the feeling he didnt train at all for that fight?.. Gee his Physique was pretty ordinary

yep , spot on. Green could have finished it earlier if he wanted to press the action a bit more though, i think he wanted to put on a bit of a show and give himself some ring time. Nobody said that santiago is a world beater , but he was a tough guy who took some good shots and kept coming. Hopefully green signs to fight either cleverly or shumenov next, as seem to be the rumours.
