Is this because Green picked Santiago to fight, who Shumenov just recently beat too? Clev, Pascal etc have also been named as possibles.

I read Shumenov and Cleverly were in talks for unification. Anyway haven't seen Shumenov but I will pick him anyway.

Green should be able to make 175...... he complained against Tarver and the Pole that he had 10lbs of water retention to get up to the weight limit of cruiser.

He is only just over 6 foot.

LHW was always Greens best weight.

he should be able to make lhw and he's looking in pretty good shape from the interviews hes been in. I think shumenov would be too slick for him and box him from the outside alll night long, he wouldn't stop him i dont believe but unless danny can stun him with some of those stiff lefts then finish him he will never beat shumenov to a decision

I always said as soon as he fights a legit CW at 200LB he will get farked up, he is not a CW and going by his comments about LHW, well what can one say.. Danny sums it up best,

He will say he was beaten fair and square and change his mind when he retires. Props to Green if he fights Shumenov though. Probably the weakest champ but still a good fight.

Clev and Shumenov are still untested at the top level.
