Good afternoon Grasshoppers,

I think it necessary that the forum go over this particular bout with a fine-tooth comb. Lets not leave ANY stone unturned. The Grinning Greeny propaganda machine in conjunction with Phillip Austin's IBO, Angelo Hyder's/Toni Hood's Fist Magazine were at their peak dressing this tripe up as an elite level "light heavyweight' world class fight.

FICTION -
* The fight billed/promoted at light heavyweight/175 lbs to see where Grinning greeny would be at in the division after having fought at cruiser/BS catchweights.
* Danny Santiago billed as a world class light heavy from the States. Yeah I know LOL/ROFL etc etc but people do fall for that **** and the Green propaganda machine know it.

FACTS -
* Santiago was NOT world class. Infact he was a journeyman who whenever he stepped up to decent level opposition got stopped. Some may even call him a bum.
* The fight was not at light heavy/175 lbs as billed and promoted but at another BS Danny Green catchweight. Both fighters weighed 186 lbs for the fight.
* The fans had the pleasure of watching this bogus bout on PPV. Yeah I know LOL eh.

What are everyones thoughts as we reminisce about this bout in Australian boxing history ?

I'd pay 100 PpV to watch Tarver smack his head & Face again but after accusing Tarver of being juiced for their bout grinning Greeny went hiding back in his cocoon when Tarver said he would happily rematch

 

Alot of haters like yourself would rate Green in the same category as Santiago or worse.
Are you saying this fight was a cherry pick of somewhat??

 

Team Green/Austin stated that the Santiago kid was a world class big name from the States. Do you agree with that kid ?

Green v Santiago the battle of the only 2 boxers to be KTFO by Antonio Tarver in the previous 4 years(though to be fair to Santiago he fought a Tarver at his optimum weight 175 and close to prime and not a shot version that still schooled Danny).

 

IBO rules state they have testing for all title fights yet didn't for Tarver-Green. Tarver caught next fight when testing was done they were probably both juicing.

 

Santiago was a bum. As for the juicing, i had posted long ago that Green was on the juice, long before ANY accusations were made, long before the Gatorade scandal and long before the Tarver fight, yet i did not know back then that he was not being tested prior or after his title fights. He had a known juicer in his training camp and he showed sighs of being on the Gear. The smoking gun is the fact that there were no drug tests for his bout with Tarver, we can assume this was going on for sometime, we just don't know how long it was going on for.

If Green was not on the gear he would have had testing, but because he was on the gear and the IBO was his puppet, he called the shots, he decided if there was or was not testing, if he did not make this decision then surely there would have been testing conducted, there would be no other excuse not to, especially with the large amounts of money the IBO were making from Greens title defenses.

 

Green got out juiced by Tarver... Pmsl

 

Tarver should have been credited with another knock down in the 1st or 2nd round if I remember correctly the ropes keeping Green up.

 

Outboxed. DLH was competitive somesay robbed Mosley 2,KO'd Vargas and Mayorga who both tested positive to roids after fighting him. The faded Tarver is just a superior boxer to Green and isn't chinny.
