As we are all coming to 'appreciate' more and more by the day, current day world titles aren't worth jack sh_t! It's all about the money!! Down the track when fighter's records are assessed, it's going to be about who they beat, and not about how many plastic belts they collected along the way. ...by then world title belts will come on the back of cerial packet (assuming they don't already).
"Mundine called me out of retirement and used my name the whole time to get publicity for his fights," Green told The Daily telegraph today. Geezus nina must ne desperate to live with this tool.

His first title was a little bull****..but you could say the same about Lester's...the title was only just made up. After that though comparing Danny or Mundine's career to Jeff's is laughable.
Can't stand Fenech as a person but when you look at those stats that couldofbeen has put up, there's no denying he cut the mustard & he did get starched from a 4th world title in 4 classes with the bull**** drawn decision in vegas. Mandy & Green can only wish they were a 1/4 successful in their careers.
Your right regarding Fenech's first title and it's 'history'. Shingaki fought a Philipino called Magallano in the initial IBF bantamweight title bout. Shingaki was 5-1-1 and Magallano 3-6-2 (having lost his previous 4 bouts). Fenech did defend this title against quality opposition in Coffee and McCrory though. So it could be argued that the legitimacy of that title started with Fenech and his defence of it. Those two bouts were certainly 'world standard', unlike some of the b/s served up to us these days.
