    Merdov waves his jab out in John's face, not landing. John ducks, weaves, and hooks the body. Merdov tries to place his jab high, and John jabs him on the hipbone. Jab to the ribs by John. Double jab to the face, right cross, and an uppercut! Nice combo by John. Merdov is backed up by some slicing hooks at the body. Merdov reaches across and taps John with a right hand but is countered with one immediately and sent back a step. Merdov holds his left arm out fully extended, taking a cue from his countryman Wladimir Klitschko. John just weaves around it and keeps hooking away. 1-2 by Merdov is caught on the gloves and he's hooked in the ribs. Right hand by Merdov. John stays off the end of Merdov's jab, tilting his neck on the outside. Double jabs up high by John coming forward. Body shots by John. Merdov ducks and throws his own combo to the body.

    Several jabs floated by Merdov. John dances to his left and hooks away at him. Merdov has his head snapped back by a high jab. Clapping rights to the back by Merdov up close. Big right hand by John pushes him off. Another solid right by John, although Merdov got his glove in to partially deflect. Right hand, left hook by John. They're trading in the pocket, both ducking and swooping as they punch. John puts his forearms up to catch some jabs, taking a rest. Triple jab by John coming forward, stabbing up at the head. Merdov jabs into the guard, and is popped in the lip with a high reaching right. 1-2 by John past the roaming Merdov jab.

    The commentators gave Merdov props for turning the fight around a little bit. He is doing much better for sure.

    John circles left and blocks. Merdov leans back and tosses his long arms out, jabs and rights flying the full distance but getting knocked aside. John pushes his way in and taps Merdov with a right. Merdov swings some uppercuts. Right uppercut, left uppercut!! John leans in against him. Windmill right from John. 1-2 by Merdov blocked. Jab on a sidestep by John. High right to the side of the head by John. Merdov comes forward and follows an overhand right with a left upper-hook, forcing John back. Right hand by John standing his ground. Merdov comes forward tossing his 1-2 and eats a right hand but is landing and backing John up.

    Good Merdov round; I'll give it to him.

    Anyways I think diablo said he has a broken nose and hand. Or maybe its green..his nose is definitely broke.
