Danny Green was just never that good

In the divsion he was as dangerous as a Glen Johnson ..He wasn't that good but not a push over by any means ..

 

That just goes to show you what beating a name does for you ..I mean he Koed a shot Roy and he's elite :huh Come on now some people need to be ignored ..

 

Tarver isn't exactly in his prime either though. So it is still a very good win considering where they are both at in their careers

 

Jones got knock out legit. The shot was behind his ear completely legal. Some people just dont understand where the back on the end actually is. Just cause it was close to the back does mean it was the back. It was behind the ear nothing wrong with it.

Either way Jones was shot and chances are there wouldve been another punch somewhere in the fight that wouldve put Roy out. If its one thing Green has its a good powerful straight right.

And yes Green isnt that good but Tarver is just a level above and is still kinda world class even at his age so no shock here.

I've never seen a knock-out like the one that put down Jones. That was weird as **** I thought. I read on wikipedia that Green refused to take his gloves off on camera at Jones Jr's cornermans request and they think he used illegal hand-wraps. It would certainly fit given the way he went down.

 

Of course he couldn't beat Hopkins but he is a legit former world champion and a good operator.

 

Just cut the **** and give Tarver respect! lol

He went over there and kicked Green's ass and gave the Aussies a heart attack at 42.

Green, NEVER on his level, got pasted trying to take out big names and it backfired!

 

I don't remember anyone saying he was a beast. People talked about Jones being shot.


Anyway : props to Tarver.

 

Green was once a legend killer. Don't forget that. 'to be a legend, you've got to beat a legend'.

 

There was some guy on here yesterday talking about Green having an Iron Chin. Guess that wasn't the case. :roflatsch
