    we do....

    but they play AFL, NRL, rugby, or just never get into boxing.

    It's a funny thing about this game, Must be the modern era.
    Where people have no idea what Metabolic acidosis is.
    What it takes to have to fight above your weight because you love the game.
    That you are prepared to promote yourself, pay local fighters & treat them well & give them national exposure.
    Pay huge dollars to bring fighters to this country, & then get blamed for their poor performance, & then suffer the glee of your own countrymen when you lose, sure spells out the insecurities of always needing to be right.

    Perhaps some might reflect on the "Danny Green circus" that RJJ came to fight, & lost, but went the distance with Hopkins next. That Flores came to fight & lost. That Tarver came to fight, & won, & people say, "Tarver never followed the script"
    A script written on the wind, by windbags.

    Bad luck Dan. that's the way it goes. Better luck next time, whatever you do.

    and like ive said, if you are a talented athlete there are other sports well set up to make you a good living. not like the old days where pay for punch was one of the only options. it was then we had thousands of registered boxers, good boxers....and les darcy..

    its not an insult,i just wish there where some good aussie sportsmen. ive got family in englang and all i get is grief about them kicking our arses at everything or all our fighters being KO'd

    the thing is i do have some english blood so chances are i'd kick your arse if your full aussie.
    on a serious note though why are you getting so het up i am just stating how we are weak as a nation and are being ridiculed for our lack of talent as a nation

    i did that but i was reminded that he done better than anyone else in the past 7 years and thats coming up from being an undisputed cruiserweight champ who would kill any aussie fighter whos ever been in or around his weight class. i cant win !!

    Maybe remind him that they have 3 times the population for starters. For 20 years we were kicking there cricket teams ass, then they beat us for the first time in 20 odd years in 2005 and they gave all there players MBE's. **** me they were struggling for sporting heroes that bad they started handing out Royal honours like they were boxing titles. In fact if I remember we beat their prima donna soccer team in the sport they invented a few years back. All sports move in cycles, whether it be AFL, Union, League, Soccer and even Boxing.

    its probably a bad time to bring up cricket as theyre about to go number 1 in the world,but its hard to find summat that we are better them at,i can only think of aussie rules at the minute
