First fight I think GGG won by like 3 rounds that one I call a robbery . The second fight however Canelo landed the harder shots to the head and downstairs.so I had Canelo winning the second one close fight

Canelo landed the better combos in the second fight but GGG landed the more hurtful shots and more jabs. Already the scoring gets into a subjective area. The real piece of propaganda is the idea Golovkin was being backed up in the fight as though it was the reverse of the first fight. I never remember Golovkin being backed to ropes, only getting space to remount attacks, which would make sense anyway considering he has longer reach and is more reliant on the jab. Just because he wasn't bullying Canelo to the ropes doesn't mean he was being bullied around the ring himself.

Canelo outlanded him in both fights. Wanna see the punch stats?

Lara was never backed up against the ropes. That doesn't mean he wasn't in complete retreat mode.

What is the significance of GGG not having his back to the ropes? You can still walk a guy down without pinning him to the ropes.

Golovkin wouldn't hold his ground against a forward moving Canelo because he assessed the risk Canlelo posed and decided it would be safer for him to back up instead of imposing his strength and physicality

Golovkin had to come out of his comfort zone to win that fight and he wouldn't/couldn't do it. Simple as that!

    Agree with Jacobs.

I had GGG winning both fights 8-4 and frankly I think he did better in the second fight. He easily outlanded Canelo in both fights but in the second he actually had Canelo hurt, and he landed much heavier shots on him. He was actually landing in combination on Alvarez, which is a hard thing to do.

I think Jacobs will be a stiff test for Canelo because he likes to let his hands go and likes to throw punches in bunches. He's less technically good than GGG but he's somewhat faster and throws rapid combinations, something that Canelo won't like.

Obviously he's trying to get under Canelo skin because Canelo clearly won

Shows you can’t score a fight

GGG won 8-9 rounds the first fight

I wish Danny had the opportunity to avenge that loss so badly, its hung over his career and provided a stink and cloud over it. Prime Jacobs vs. Pirog would have been one hell of a fight, I'm not saying Danny wins but no doubt it would have been a razor close fight all the way and probably a SD win for whoever got the official "W." Pirog on his best day was a ****ing nightmare for anyone, I think he would have tuned up GGG something fierce if they had fought. But a more experienced and prime Jacobs, trying to avenge that loss would have been hell for Pirog.

But whatever, whats happened has happened and Danny going on a rampage after overcoming the adversity he had to face and beat, and developing into the incredible fighter he is today should go down in boxing history as one of the greatest comebacks in history and proves the special type of mental toughness, resilience, and fortitude Danny Jacobs possesses.
