Yeah, problem with these organizations having different rules. Enrolling in VADA isn't hard though and if you test positive then...honestly you shouldn't have had the belt in the first place.
The Povetkin case is a weird one. Meldonium is a drug on the banned substance list, but it only got put on the list recently and a lot of scientists agree that it shouldn't be there in the first place. What benefits, if any, that it gives you can be gotten by small means like coffee and such. If you ban Meldonium you may as well ban tons of other things. Not only that, but meldonium is on the list as a...I think the exact word they use is "quantitative", meaning it isn't that you can't have it in your system at all as much as you can't have over a certain amount, which Povetkin didn't as was proven. Now the Ostarine (Enobosarm) is radically different. This has been banned since 2008 and ANY trace of this in your system is illegal. This is actually something that clearly affects performance. Thing is, I think you would have to take it for an extended period of time while training and competing for it to be a factor. Not only that, but you would have to take a decent amount of it. Only one test Povetkin took came up with this in his system and the sample he gave after the dirty one came up as clean. To me, that means he didn't have this in his system for a long time. You can't take steroids or anything like that just in a very brief period for you to get the benefits. Not only that, but what was found was a very small amount. I'm not an expert so honestly I don't know how much would be found in his system if he was using it outright, but I think it would have to be more than 30 picograms or whatever they found.
Would that be allowed? Just not have the WBC/IBF on the line? It sounds like that shouldn't be a problem, but it would be pretty weird if Jacobs were to win the fight.
Weird things happen when trying to cheat. I'm not giving that cheating **** any leeway. An eyesore on the sport.
Have both fighters agreed to do VADA testing because some posters here saw a black guy post an interview (his opinion) accusing Jacobs of stalling during negotiations avoiding testing by VADA lmfao during negotiations so that he can cycle off. Youtube has all of the answers-and never the truth.
If Jacobs or GG fail testing they can go get Headvetkins lawyer or reps and they'll beat the case. Lol
Yes it would, Pulev only paid IBF fees against Wlad to save money so that's the only belt that was on the line for him. (Wlad paid for all his belts obviously).
Being a cancer survivor does not give him free reign to take whatever he wants through pity. Roids do not attenuate cancer for goodness sake. The only things this questionable man should be adding to his regime are chemo meds
Well this is just if hes enrolled in the WBC VADA program. The individual contract for this fight probably (should) have VADA testing engrained in it regardless of whether hes enrolled in the WBC testing or not
