Jacbos should go after Lembum easy win with a stoppage, Jacbos can look amazing against him

 

Oh for sure,incredible what GGG had to concede to with Jacobs just to get him in the ring,money wise was a given I guess but to concede home territory ect when you’re the holder of four belts speaks of desperation on K2 and GGGs part from being avoided all those years infact as Jacobs admitted it took a game Welterweight in Kell Brook to show the way and give others the balls to face him albeit with every single advantage they could negotiate.
There’s one other shady thing about that Jacobs deal,the fight was ready to be made months before it got done and it’s my personal opinion that Jacobs had to cycle off whatever he was on which is fine as it seems to be accepted by fighters and promoters alike but a bit like Ward in his prolonged rematch with Kovalev it was noticeable that GGG who had to be tested regularly by Vada being the WBC champ I may be wrong but I’m sure Jacobs wasn’t tested?

 

Yes good call,I’m sure you’re right as Jacobs isn’t all about the big KO he’s actually a decent boxer as he showed against GGG.

Totally agree CST80 and who would blame him,surely someone like Spike would fall outside of this modern perception where each and every fight has to be against the top dogs.
It almost seems now with social media and fanboy pressure that stay busy fights,showcase fights ect just aren’t accepted anymore unless one is rebuilding maybe,case in point AJ who after his mandatory pulled out with injury in Pulev fought the next down in Takam and yet there are some who call him for this fight which is just crazy given his next two opponents will likely be Parker and Wilder lol.

What are you talking about? Don’t discredit Jacobs like that. Remember, he beat cancer back in 2012.

 

I think it's insensitive to get on his back for that, its obviously a huge thing he overcame and its amazing that he did. Assuming that you're getting at him using it as his story in fight build ups, so what? It's an important part of his story. Another person in that situation might decide they don't want to remember it, others are extremely grateful to have come through it. Everyone's different, let him do his thing.

 

I’m not knocking him as much as I’m knocking the producers. Objectively speaking, his claim to fame is a fair and square loss to GGG and his status as a cancer survivor. I realize Quillin was a big win at the time, but Quillin’s lack of activity and overall slide into obscurity have diminished the quality of this victory over time.

Maybe I just haven’t forgiven Jacobs for being such a jerk after he beat Sergio “punching power of a snake” Mora by broken ankle, after suffering a heavy knockdown.
