Danny Jacobs says he can stop Canelo

I’m sure he could but I couldn’t see Canelo facing a Middleweight his size.

 

Jacobs has the power to KO him but Canelo, to his credit, is still deceptively elusive even when gassed, so it could go distance and if it did I can't see there being any other outcome than a Jacobs UD (in other words, a Daniel Jacobs robbery.)

Jacobs can stop Canelo if he attacks the body early. He isn't stopping **** head hunting.

 

Don't see it. Canelo's defense is way better than Quillin's. Jacobs has the power and athleticism to give Canelo problems, but I see Jacobs going defensive against Canelo, since Canelo would be countering all day if Jacobs tried to load up on him. GGG tried loading up on Canelo early when he backed him into a corner and ate a nasty counter to the body. Jacob's also doesn't have the chin to absorb Canelo's counters for 12 rounds like GGG did.

 

I see it going 12. I think Clenelo is pretty tough. Jacobs would have to fight aggressively though cause he can't win this fight on judges scorecards on the backfoot. A good fight for sure though.

 

I can't envision them fighting and any other scenario than Jacobs beating the **** out of ginger boy.

 

Annoys the **** out of me that we all just accept that nobody is gonna beat Canelo on points.How ***** up is that?

I dont know what it is but when i think of a fight between Jacobs and Canelo i picture Canelo beating by ko with a body shot.

 

I think Canelo stop Jacoba if they fight. Jacob not good chin and can't fight on back foot against Canelo or Canelo get wide decision win. So fight Canelo and not back away, and get KO loss

 

Canelo has a bad case of roid head,I’ve known two examples of folk given steroids for medical use and in both cases their heads got bigger.
Look at Canelo who fought Floyd and the version now,his head has grown some since then lol.

 

He would have no other choice but to knock him out. The only way you can take Canelo on points is if you Mayweather school him and still scrape by a majority decision. 114-114 lol

 

Jacobs had the chin to take Golovkin's shots for 12 rounds. Clenelo's shots won't be a problem.

 

Quillen has looked shaky for some time so his first round stoppage was no big deal. But in Jacob's fight against Sulecki he looked weak and vulnerable. I wouldn't be placing any money on Jacobs if he fights Canelo. He certainly will not be KOing Canelo. Canelo may KO him. I actually thought Jacobs looked like there was something wrong with him in his fight against Sulecki. Sulecki is a tough guy but very undersized against Jacobs. Jacobs should have stopped Sulecki.
