Danny Jacobs, Son of Pirog and Certified Sergio Mora Specialist, Disses Gennady Golovkin's Resume...

Jacobs is prob holding golovkin to a different standard since his fans insist hes an ATG and he is a top 5 p4p guy all over the place...I figured ggg fanboys would be familiar with holding different fighters to different standards

 

its strange....cause kovalev is known as a vicious killer....and he had no problems getting any fights....strange huh?

what about andre ward? did he duck golovkin ?

 

yo man ggg would have had like everybody on his resume...Bernard, jermain, Kelly pavlik, froch, calzaghe, Kessler, AA, andre dirrell...all them dudes...but, like, those fights never happened!!!!!!!

Actually, Kovalev did have problems getting meaningful fights.

It all changed when he decided to take a tiny purse against Hopkins ($500k lol), after winning that one things improved markedly. But even so, against Ward he got less than 30%.

 

lol@thinking kovalev had trouble getting fights...the dude beat pascals head in and pascal was like "ill do it again"...nard was like 50 and even he wasn't scared.....while were at it why don't u nitpick wards resume again

kovalev has no problem taking the money he was offered at any time...cause he aint scared

 

50 year old guy signed to fight kovalev...pascal got his head beat in and was down to do it again.......nobody was swerving kovalev though huh? weird.....hey jus tkeep making those excuses for ggg...gotta keep that train rolling....yeah man ggg resume superior to kovalevs! of course if you strip away two fights!!!

 

The Pascal fights were after Kovalev achieved some popularity by taking the Hopkins fight. Before that he was high-risk no-reward and stuck for quite a while, actually he fought for free in his first 18 bouts. By the way I never said Pascal and Hopkins were scared, but some other LHWs certainly were.

If you meant to praise Kovalev for being willing to take the short end of the money, any time, anywhere, I wholeheartedly agree.

 

we could go around in circles here all day nitpicking resumes and saying "well this fight happened only cause blah blah"

bottom line

kovalevs resume is better...no ifs, ands or buts about it.....kovalevs reputation is similar to gggs....yet one of them has meaningful fights

 

You're missing Felix Sturm, Zbik and the rest of the German guys protected from him by their promoter.
