This is sad news to hear, Rozier guided Jacob's well through his fights . Jacob's is soon making a move to 168 where all the men are bigger and just keep getting bigger

    Plant 6'1
    Benavidez 6'2
    Smith 6'3
    Saunders 5'11

Jacobs will be going up against bigger men at 168. How will Jacob's fare at 168 against these men. Especially without Rozier at his corner now ?

He's on the slide anyway and has no prospects at 160, so he might as well start thinking about an eventual cashout.

To answer your question, I doubt he will do that much and that's fine.

He should fight former middleweights like Lemieux and Saunders.

If I was managing him it would be

Chavez jr, Lemieux, Saunders... in order.

Lemieux is dangerous for jacobs. Jacobs can be hit and has questionable punch resistance.

Jacobs should stay at 160 if he can, he gets eaten up by the top dogs at SMW imo Smith, Benavidez etc.

I think he has a decent chance if making 160 is difficult.SMW division isn’t exactly loaded.

A new trainer wouldn’t hurt at this point. Why not try something new
Maybe at 168 he can be stronger
I think beats up Chavez easy
Him and BJS would make a great fight
Not a bad career at all for a B plus fighter like Jacobs

    He's better suited for 168

@ 168 he will Win some, lose some. He's not afraid to fight the best whenever, wherever. And many greats changed trainers, so I don't see him trying to be reinvented.

Strange move, Rozier helped him a lot.
    Anyone knows what’s the reason?

I don't actually think he will be undersized at SMW. He can hang with the the top 5. BJS needs to move down to 160 but him vs Jacobs at 168 would be decent on paper. Eddie has signed Jacobs, BJS, Andrade and GGG. He needs to get them fighting each other instead he wants BJS vs Callum Smith which he will leave marinating for another 2 years.

I don't think that is an option any more. He was struggling to make the weight.

Jacobs is only half an inch shorter than Kovalev, has a half an inch longer reach that Kov, and probably weighed about the same down at 160 as Kovalev does these days at 175.

Same thing as with GGG and Abel. Jacobs wasn't willing to grant Rozier the usual 10%. Rozier was quite upset about this, even stating Derevyanchenko would have won against Jacobs with him in the other corner. I'm inclined to believe him.
