Or if Lemieux wins, Stevenson-Hopkins & Quillin-Lemieux in Montreal.

That would be a very good fight. And probably a way back to the light for Lemieux. He's been out of the contenders picture for a while and his people want to cash in on him. This type of fight is exactly what they need. David has a hand speed advantage but not a foot speed advantage. I can see Jacobs boxing his way to an early lead but I can't see him lasting the distance.

That would be a good card. Whoever wins a Jacobs-Lemieux match up(if it happens) would probably become a lower top 10 guy and a nice opponent for Quillen.

good fight. Rooting for David, but wouldn't mind seeing Jacobs win after overcoming cancer

Good matchup actually. Will separate who's a pretender from who might be a top middleweight.

Both have power, and both are vulnerable.

Jacobs should be favored, but it's far from a given.

Lemieux is probably the most dangerous middleweight going. For 6 minutes.

I agree, but the vast majority of DKSAB fightfans would disagree.....

Jacobs was being protected and on his way to a gimme before he met Pirog and Lemieux, while having the better resume, was socalled EXPOSED vs hardhitting ironchinned MAR......and then losing a close fight vs Alcime.

The winner of this fight is DEFO worthy of a title shot....but IMO, GBP, is looking to give Jacobs to Quillin as a gift, and theyre not going to risk a fight with Lemiux, who should have little trouble KOing DJ.:think

At to ppl saying the MW division is thin.......

Lemieux is 17 boxrec and Jacobs #26......

These guys are great MWS....very solid....and Andy Lee is as well...

Shiit, anything to discredit the 4 titlists.:-:)-:)-(

Whilst Jacobs has some skills he'll crumble under the power that Lemieux brings to the table. I fully expect a brutal Lemieux knockout.
