Danny Jacobs vs Sergiy Derevyanchenko next saturday

I want Derevyanchenko to win, but I don't see it happening, unfortunately... Jacobs by UD.

 

Voted Derevenchenko, but it will be hard for him to win on the cards, Hearn obviously wants to bring that IBF belt back to DAZN.
Derev has to knock him out!

 

Dervo will paste him if the same Jacobs of the last few fights turns up.

 

Jacobs and sets up the division nicely.

 

I voted Jacobs on pedigree but he's not been looking great lately. This will not be an easy fight for either of them and Derevyanchenko has a good chance of winning. I think its going to be an all action clash!

 

Sulecki fought well, but with some power, I'm not sure Danny would've won with as clean as he was getting tagged. Maybe Danny himself knew that and his defense wasn't as tight as a result, but he can't afford to eat that many shots vs SD.

 

Jacobs on points, be clear but competitive, think he's just a level above the Russian.

 

I wanna see Jacobs and canelo!!! There is a reason charlo ducked Andrade and especially Jacobs! Jacobs vs canelo in May

 

I give Derevyanchenko about a 30% chance. He needs to knock out Jacobs, who is the A-side here, and regardless Jacobs would probably win a decision anyway due to his height and length if it came to that.

Still, if Jacobs is as open as he has been in some past fights, the KO could certainly happen …. Remember Mora had Jacobs down, Sulecki hit him quite a bit (with no power); Derevyanchenko is far more scary and if he gets to Jacobs at some point ...

14-1 to Jacobs on the poll. Wow. I don't think the actual fight will be as lopsided.

 

Hearn has already paid for the decision, Jacobs just has to go the distance.

Anyway I can’t get pumped for this knowing that Hughie-Pulev is next week.
