Danny's a beast. Been following him since the amateurs (as we're both 165) and was surprised (and disappointed) he didn't make the Olympic Team. But oh well. I think he's going to go on to big things as a pro.

At the end of 2009, he'll fight someone worthy.

Gamboa is WAAAAAAAAY too confident and does a few things wrong, his hands are his biggest problem.

Why, because he has it out for Dawson? That's just because he's a Diaconu nuthugger.

Demetrius Andrade and Matvey Korobov owned him in the amatuers if I am not mistaken.

Jacobs' style is more suited to the pros than the amateurs though.

 Jesus Christ man. He was a ****ing teenager and not to mention he fought Boo Boo at 152, not at 165. And Korobov owned a lot of people before he got owned at the Olympics.

Actually, he was a great amateur. There was nothing wrong with his style for the amateurs; particularly within the US. It just happens that he was like 17 or 18 and Korobov was a grown ass man when they fought.

Jacobs looks a great prospect to me. I saw the olympic trials where he lost to Shawn Estrada and i thought he looked awful, but on the whole a great prospect.

I think he should stay away from Estrada in the Pro's, the guy seems to have a stylistic edge over him from what i saw, even though he is probably a much more inferior fighter.

Estrada got a lucky break; he had lost to Danny before I think. Shawn is a big and strong middleweight but tended to fly off the handle and get DQ'd a lot.

I dont know if it was a small ring, but it looked to me like Jacobs looked very uncomfortable in that fight on the backfoot, or it could of been just a case of Estrada taking centre ring and giving him no room to maneuver around the ring etc .
