No, he wasn't robbed. Jesus, everytime someone decent loses as an amateur isn't a robbery. Matvei Korobov killed him as an amateur. But he is really good and I like him a lot.
I heard that he lost the amateur selection fair and square. But he looks very good. I have seen 3 pro fights of him and he is tall, fast and puts his shots together nicely. He is big for a Super Middle and also seems to really like going to the body which is quite rare in the higher weight classes. He has a great left hook and moves pretty well. One to watch and I am a fan of his style already from what I have seen.
He was a really good amateur. He just happened to lose to Shawn Estrada at the Olympic Trials. He was a great amateur though.
