    The fight isn't the most meaningful of Lopez' career but there's the pre-fight bits, highlights, and post fight interviews. All the good footage, and in good quality too. Enjoy!

    Also, you almost never see fighters at the top of the sport take three flush power punches in the row the way Danny does in the very beginning of this video... :lol:

    I remember watching that on television. Since 1972 or so, I had thought that Little Red walked on water, and thought so when I watched this fight. In retrospect, he was taking, and had taken, too many flush punches and he was being matched soft.

    Reminds me of that Malvarez fight that they referenced at the beginning of the vid...ohhhh man!!! When Dannyboy finally landed!!!

    How do you guys rate the quality of this? Pretty solid for a late 70's TV bout, right? I'm pretty sure I've seen a lot of Lopez footage in worse condition...

    Lopez was such a humble class act. Something that's rare today.

    He stuck out even in an era that still had a fair amount of humble fighters. A class act of a man.
