:rofl he was shot!! excellent win...ffs..McIntosh came in overweight against a blown up old SMW. Oakey was forced down by the sheer weight of McIntosh and misread the count. You clearly ain't seen the fight because your saying round 1.

Excellent prizefighter win? hardly beat a good name did he? just guys who weren't at top domestic level over 3 rounds. Stick to making up figures pal cos your clueless at times.

Oakey was already plotting his exit from Boxing and made one last go at it (£££) and had nothing left. Hence losing to Banbula in his next fight after McIntosh. He's always been known to like a bit of charlie and was at end of career.

Don't come with articles quoting Oakey saying ''i got two years left!!'' that's typical fighter talk before a fight. If Oakey had more to give why did he have a farewell fight?...not exactly a man on a mission. Just a man content.

I suppose Audley's win was fantastic in prizefighter aswell Rob?

 

Can i just say also i have immense respect for Oakey a fantastic warrior..grew up watching the guy. Shame his career stalled at it's peak because he could of went on to a higher level and competed and competed well.

I too also admire Tony Oakey but make no mistake the Oakey that got in with McIntosh is not the Oakey that went tooth and nail with Francis, that fight took too much outta him IMHO ;-)
