I think it is official (Hatton promotions won the purse bids for it and the date became available when Macklin vs Pirog was moved back).

Was due to be the chief support of Macklin Pirog I think guys, so although it was official the fight might get moved.

This should be a good fight. Oakey seems to be back doing well again and McIntosh is pretty decent too. The card will need someone else on it if they are to keep up with recent standards.

I'd go with Oakey, more of a rounded fighter, McIntosh should go to MMA

I'm no longer sure about Danny McIntosh.

I never thought he'd be good enough to get beyond Commenwealth level but when I saw how easy Cleverly took him apart, despite Danny showing a lot of heart, I started to doubt that he would even be British Champion.

This is a big crossroads fight for him and Oakey. The loser will have to ask serious questions about what they can achieve from here in the sport and I think that it may be McIntosh who is asking those questions.

Danny's akward against fighters who lack fundamentals. He was clearly exposed by Clev who has more then just the fundamentals. I like Danny his hearts big but he's not really gonna go any further then domestic level. I did feel the Clev fight was to early but felt he could cause Clev some problems early doors...how wrong was i. Oakey should win due to his high workrate and good jab and solid beard.

I think Oakey takes this one if he's still got it left. Which is a shame really cos I like McIntosh, he has a good story surrounding him (travelling upto the Ingle gym etc) and is a bit of a character, sure he's a bit cocky and gets a bit silly sometimes but i'm a fan. That Cleverly fight although it was pretty one sided he showed massive heart, was a really good fight that imo.
