Boxing doesn't work that way. They know Herrera will always be a tough matchup for Danny. Herrera brings nothing to the table but headaches. That rematch will never happen.

Then Danny's scared and knows he really lost, and would lose again. :scaredas:

In my opinion, Garcia lost his fight against Herrera, but I understand not everyone sees that way.

If they fight at 147, there will be an excuse for Herrera. He'll say "oh, the weight slowed my done... etc." There will always be an excuse. :deal

Danny isn't scared. His team isn't stupid though. Why would they unneccesarily risk their meal ticket? Losses come with a price in this sport.

Rematches like this won't happen until Danny loses. It isn't that Danny or his people don't want the rematch. You move on until your run is stopped. Clottey damn near disfigured Margarito...yet they said Margarito beat Clottey lmao. Yeah right. No rematch.

Wait a second…lets be clear…El Maestro hasn't made any excuses!! It's Danny and Angel that have been making excuses. Lets see…

-Angel accused Herrera of using dirty tactics (headbutts) yet Danny had two blatant low blows one into the butt of Herrera.
-Danny used the weight as an excuse, and pretty much made a decision to move up to 147 after this fight

So it's Danny Garcia's camp that has been making excuses. Now we're talking about a rematch at 147 because Danny Garcia can't make weight at 140. Who's fault is that??? Now you're saying a match at 147 would be an "excuse" for Herrera? BS!! Herrera didn't make any excuses, Danny Garcia is supposedly the unified 140 lb champ and now he can't even make weight. They are making excuses, not Herrera!!

Agree but it should be at 140 so Herrera can get his belts.

All the greats gives rematchs .

If Danny wants to prove he was the true superior fighter then he needs to rematch Herrera right away .

From what i saw the fight was not even close .

Well Herrera doesnt need to make the full 147 weight limit . He can come in 145 ,144 .

Styles make fights . i see Herrera still being effective even if Garcia comes in @ 147 .

No he doesn't. I wouldn't knock him if he decided to rematch him, but it won't make much of a difference.
