Danny Oscar Garcia is a top 3 p4p fighter if he wins this fight, possibly #1. His resume is insane.

If Danny pulls this off, I'm growing the little hair I have out, ordering Rogaine, flying to Philly and getting a Danny Garcia haircut from his coked out dad every 2 weeks for a year.

Nah, if he wins he probably crack top 5. Most of his wins are hardly dominant. We shall see if he manage to win convincingly Saturday night.

Personally I'm all for scrapping its use entirely. I don't go in for the reclaim business, some things are best resigned to the history books and have terms are one of those thing IMO.

There's only two that weren't (Herrera and Peterson). I know some people scored the Campbell fight close and labeled him a bust way back then but there doesn't seem to be a sentiment that that fight was close enough that it warrants being explained a bit.

He lost the last 3 rounds against Zab... but those were the only 3 rounds he lost. He lost some rounds to Morales in their first fight... but nobody would dare claim that fight was controversial.

You have to be holding him to an amazingly high standard, higher than his own true fans, to criticize him for not winning convincingly enough. EDIT: Obviously, Herrera and Peterson aside.

 

I think he will if he wins fair and square, if we see a Herrera type result then he won't.

 

I'm sure he will, even if it is close or controversy. I don't know the odds, but I assume Thurman is s slight favourite.

 

He'll need to win without controversy though, but yeah... You'd have to be a blind hater not to give him credit.

 

I actually agree about his 0. Basically refuting the claim of top p4p spot if he win tomorrow, mainly because some of his win were not as dominant as the other p4per
