Danny Swift Garcia left a MASSIVE void in the 140 lb division when he moved up

    :deal

28-0 in the 140 lb division, he wrecked **** down there.

He pretty much cleaned out the division and was head and shoulders above the rest. Lineal, beat literally everyone relevant, cleaned the division out.

Somewhat similar to the void Calzaghe left when he exited the 168 lb division. :nod

Now we have lower tier fighters fighting for his trinkets.

But now even though the skill level will be considerably lower, we might get more competitive fights.

I think Matthysse knows this too, that's why he said he's even willing to move up to 147 to chase Garcia despite the fact that he's probably 1 or 2 with Crawford at 140 now and he can probably get a few belts here and there.

He knows that even if he "rules" this division, it's close to meaningless because he never could grab himself a belt when Garcia ruled :nod

they are setting him up as a possible floyd opponent because he is small, slow, and static. his record was preserved so he is undefeated champion with mexican roots so very marketable for a mexican holiday schedule.

He's Puerto Rican, not Mexican. Never heard of him having Mexican roots in the slightest, I could be wrong though!

Frankie Gavin's going to clean up the division now that he's moving down from 147.

? He did everything possible at 140, nothing more, cleaned it out. Perfect way to end it off actually, beating Herrera. :deal

People are now fighting for his disposables. :yep

My phone doesn't show the thread starter on the mobile version of esb, it's become a game for me to try and guess the OP before I open the thread, I get it right with MVC!'s threads 90% of the time.
